Spicy Deviled Eggs

These spicy deviled eggs are a twist on the traditional recipe, adding a bit of heat and flavor that will leave everyone asking for the recipe!

Spicy Deviled Eggs### Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives or green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Start by hard boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for about 12 minutes.
  2. Once the eggs are done cooking, transfer them to an ice bath for about 5 minutes. This will make peeling them much easier!
  3. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the egg yolks and place them in a mixing bowl, and set the egg whites aside.
  4. In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy.
  5. Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Be generous; you want them to look beautiful!
  6. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions for a fresh touch and an added burst of flavor.
  7. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until you’re ready to impress your guests.

These spicy deviled eggs are sure to be a hit at any gathering, and they come together effortlessly. Enjoy every bite, and happy cooking!
