Spicy Deviled Eggs
These spicy deviled eggs are a twist on the traditional recipe, adding a bit of heat and flavor that will leave everyone asking for the recipe!
### Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh chives or green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Start by hard boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for about 12 minutes.
- Once the eggs are done cooking, transfer them to an ice bath for about 5 minutes. This will make peeling them much easier!
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the egg yolks and place them in a mixing bowl, and set the egg whites aside.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy.
- Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Be generous; you want them to look beautiful!
- Garnish with chopped chives or green onions for a fresh touch and an added burst of flavor.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate until you’re ready to impress your guests.
These spicy deviled eggs are sure to be a hit at any gathering, and they come together effortlessly. Enjoy every bite, and happy cooking!
